Exercising & Staying Agile

2021 is coming to a close and it's time to think about resolutions for the new year. For 2022, like every year, our team commits to exercising and staying agile---both in and out of the fitness center.

Just like it's not enough to do one physical exercise and stay fit (run, hit the weights, and do crunches!), as consultants, we recognize that it's never enough to know just one tool. This topic is often repeated in the Levvitate blog, emphasized because our team members are required to be proficient in the industry-accepted programs and applications related to our services. As more clients lean toward agile project management, Atlassian Jira is one of such tool.

Jira is viewed as one of the best Agile Project Management applications. As Project Management Institute Project Management Professionals and Agile Certified Practitioners, Levvitate is proficient in the use of Microsoft Project and Atlassian Jira and use both in the administration of projects, both in-house and for clients.

Jira's Kanban board template has been the most useful for our purposes, and we use it in combination with Microsoft Project. Here's how:

In addition to Jira, Atlassian also offers Confluence, a document sharing app that has some of the features of SharePoint.

Microsoft Project and SharePoint have been the standards for as long as Levvitate has been in business. As more clients adopt Agile processes in their operations (and not just software development), we will continue to upskill with this application, and others.
